e-mail from GUU

Dearest all,

As you all know we are hosting the ESU Masters 2006 on 30th September 2006 at the Glasgow University Union. We have got a decent number on board thus far and it is shaping up to be a great event!

However, it is very much a more the merrier event and we hope to have as many people along as possible. So if you guys could promote it around your friends, or to anyone you think might be interested that would be fantastic.

The GUU is a great venue to host IVs as many of you know and we are expecting the event to be a lot of fun. Although, it is a great chance to meet up with some old friends and have a few beers, we know what debaters are like once a competition gets going and we are expecting the debates to be very humorous and of a decent quality. It’s £25 for an individual and £50 for a team. We’ll pair individuals up on the day.

The only criteria for entry is to be ineligible for the Mace, Worlds or Euros. If you would like any further information, please do not hesitate to get in contact with me.
Thanks, and I hope to see you all soon.

Rob Marrs,
Speech & Debates Officer,
ESU Scotland
